“What is important now is to recover our Senses…”

On the Radio one man talks

another breathes heavily

at the end of a line –

We are going under.

Under where? I don’t know.

It’s a mixture of semantics and speculation

and utter confusion,

Collapse.

They say we had faced collapse

And what, exactly,

does that feel like?

Like the frame is giving way

All the tension

of support dissolved

instantaneously.

And then the rush of adrenalin

that comes with loss –

and the cavity for grief

gapes open to be filled…

There are no edges left

none

no hard lines to grab onto

just Horizon…

While the man speaks of sovereignity –

I wonder what it is.
